Solid Wood Bats are permissible at ALL levels.
For the 7U – 13U Divisions: Non-wood and wood composite bats must have the following Stamps: 1.15 BPF, BBCOR or USA Baseball Certified logo visible on the bat. There is no drop restriction for 7U – 13U.
For 15U Only: Non-wood and wood composite bats must have the same stamps as in the younger ages, and bats used at the 15U level must not exceed -5 drop. Drop is the difference between the length (in inches) and weight (in ounces) and it must be clearly marked and visible on the bat.
Bats that are cracked, splintered or damaged are not permissible. In addition, any bat deemed dangerous by the umpire can be removed from play and deemed illegal/nonconforming.
Bats marked as TEE BALL are considered illegal/non-conforming for all levels except 5U. This includes bats that are marked as TEE BALL and have a 1.15 BPF or USA Baseball Certified logo. Bats marked TEE BALL do not undergo manufacturing certification testing for safety. All bats used for 5U can have certification stamps, but certification stamps are not required. Bats used for 5U should only be hitting "soft" safety balls.
